I-70 reopens over Vail Pass

Eastbound Interstate 70 reopened over Vail Pass around 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 after closing about a half hour earlier.

The closure was due to safety reasons, according to Colorado Department of Transportation, and stretched from mile marker 180 at East Vail to mile marker 190, or the Vail Pass Summit.
